CONSIDER the artist in question's feelings before you accuse them of ripping.

It REALLY hurts, not to mention ruins the artist's credibility, especially when they HAVEN'T done anything wrong.

A polite askance for a resource list through a note would save a lot of pain. And if still in doubt, just ask for simple proof. The artist can always provide you rough sketches of their work to prove it if the work is original.

I CAN give proof to you. I have a few sketchbooks which I have maintained impeccably. All I have to do is scan the sheets and hand them over to you.
